Editor's Verdict
The Coros Vertix 2S is built for high-altitude mountaineers and multi-day trail racers who prioritize 40-day daily battery life, 118 hours of standard GPS, and Grade 5 titanium/sapphire durability at $699. Its redesigned 5-LED optical heart-rate sensor and revised GPS antenna fix the weak spots of the original Vertix 2, while free global landscape and topo maps keep you on route from -30°C alpine ridges to desert canyons.
