Worth-it verdict
Is Garmin Vivosmart 5 worth buying?
Best valueFair at retailTarget $142
Garmin excels at multi-week battery life, dual-band GNSS accuracy, and subscription-free recovery metrics across iOS and Android. Older wearable hardware can still track workouts reliably, but battery health and sale price matter most. The review score and price are strong enough that retail pricing makes sense.
